The blocks that make up these 2 Sunbonnet Sue quilts were started when Willie Mae Ingram got pregnat with her first
child, thinking that she was having a girl. After 3 boys she gave up on the blocks and never completed the quilt.
Willie Mae's daughter in law asked me to complete the quilts. One has gone to her great granddaughter and the
second will be held onto until the great-great granddaughter can responsible care for it. The blocks are made of
feed sacks...the off white are cotton seed sacks.
