1. Sewing Machine, with extra bobbins and
needles
2. 45 mm rotary cutter, with a safety guard
3. 17 x 23 inch (or larger) mat marked with a 1" grid
4. 6 X 24 inch acrylic ruler marked in ¼ inch increments with 30-, 45-, and 60-degree angles
5. Pair of scissors
6. Thread to match fabric (black
for dark and white for light is OK)
7. Pins and pincushion
8. Safety pins
9. Fabric and Batting-amount specific
to class and quilt size
10. Iron and ironing mat *optional
